Kona Red Bourbon

$60
Red Bourbon is traditionally a varietal originating from El Salvador that showcases at cooler temperatures and higher elevations.  Lucious red cherries that are hand picked at the peak of sweetness will be wash-processed and carefully dried to preserve these beautiful flavors.  This coffee is fresh notes of Hawaiian papaya and pear with a juice body that stays smooth and balanced on the palate.  The higher elevations seem to tame this varietals brightness, and we have a perfectly juicy, sweet and balanced cup from Kopiko Estate which resides at 2,800 feet in elevation.

Grown and roasted in one idyllic origin

Kona coffee is grown on volcanic soil. Historically, volcanoes have been known to leave an embarrassment of agricultural riches in their wake - just look to Mt. Vesuvius’s effect on the cuisine of Napoli for proof.
